hard-hitting
KLB-TV commentator Mark Maynard, whom McGarrett detests. McGarrett says
Maynard
"exploits freedom of the press for personal glory." In a broadcast,
Maynard
calls McGarrett "a joke ... a man of such personal vanity that good men
have
been resigning in disgust [is this a reference to Danno perhaps?] and have
been
replaced by incompetent sycophants."
There is no reason for his departure at the end of the 11th season.
