I think 14 is outstanding, 8 is good, I also like 2 and 19. I
like the idea of having the state motto on the coin as in 3, 12, 14,
etc.
Some of the state flag designs such as 15 and 21 look good, but
I think it is violation of Mint design rules to have the state flag
on the coin.
Now if you want to see some really awful proposed designs, have
a look at Montana:

They not only look like they were submitted by fourth graders, I
bet they were!
