It's great that he corresponded with you ... it denotes a down to earth
guy who probably monitors this group, but after 11 successful years on
the show, I'd say he outgrew the role.
You know ... like Burghoff did as Radar O'Rielly (although his reason
was readily apparent).
Let's face it though, James had other op****tunities to consider and
Lord was aging fast. That's likely why any network running the series
today confines itself to its earliest seasons. In fact, I've yet to see
the local channel here run a single episode from the 12th season. It's
OK by me, because I can't imagine Hawaii Five-0 without "Danno" anyway.
