Nice article ... I also noticed visiting IMDb that there's a new
"Hawaii Five-0" in production, but doesn't offer much more beyond a
May 2007 release. However, there is an active message board there if
anyone is interested.
In my view, a reprise could make it on its own merits, but as an
extension of the original show, it will flop miserably.
In fact, I think somebody is wasting their time. The cast selection
alone will be a joke, the audience is a lot dumber today, and
'correctness' will kill any potential writers might have had to
cultivate a dedicated fan base anyway.
We'll see for ourselves soon enough, but James MacAurthur doesn't
appear to be involved with the project.
