No doubt about it Dave. It was such a shock to me, because my DVD
retailer is a New England distribution center that receives stocks in
huge volumes -- I mean, who could have anticipated the title would
disappear in less than 8 days of its debut release? I only regret not
pre-ordering as I have with every other purchase, but there's no
second-guessing that the industry is out of touch with its own meal
ticket.

Maybe someday soon we'll be able to download any show we want to our
own discs, because it's not just the fog the studios keep us all in
that irritates me about this commercial DVD racket -- it's also the
Previews, the menu mazes, and useless special features that do nothing
but chew up valuable disc space.

Oh well, I'll just have to wait for the next round.
