Me too, but I've just learned that I can't feel cheated missing out on
material most of us never saw (or don't remember seeing) and will
likely never see again. It's my guess there aren't any copies out
there ... official ones anyway.
However, I still wanted to why it was omitted from the second season
line up and happened on the answers from Bill Koenig himself. I think
the reason is silly (especially if it was an excellent episode), but
since I'm not the one facing the threat of constant litigation by the
family of a deceased moron, I understand their position and concur
with the decision.
Why is this the "lost" episode of Five-O?
It has never been shown in syndication. It was only shown once on CBS.
How come?
According to the widow of Five-O creator Leonard Freeman, somebody
died attempting the "yoga" act shown on the episode. The decision was
made immediately to not broadcast the episode again. She made the
comment during a 1996 convention of Five-O fans in Los Angeles.
Have fans managed to see the show?
