Wait...it gets more confusing...at least from my view point. About
nine years ago....while FAM was still showing their Five-O's, a local
station where I live was showing 2 Five-O's per day...and they seemed
to be complete...with the wave breaks as well. I'm sure they were
complete because I remember seeing scenes in them that I hadn't seen
on other syndicated versions. Like a long sequence when Chin Ho gets
killed in "A Death In The Family", where McGarrett swears to avenge
his death. On other syndicated versions, that scene was cut...so
using that one as an example, I'm rather sure that my area WAS showing
complete prints. Also the commercial breaks were very small as
well....more proof. And the VIACOM ending had a voice saying the name
as Viacom was spelled out.
Told ya it's confusing. (Oh....I used to post here years ago when I
had webtv.....geesh....seems unbelievable now.... but I remember my
most famous posting was one titled "The Governor's Name")
