I couldn't disagree more, Karen. Whatever the Girls made this season
and were currently asking for, they're worth it *because the network
and studio make a gazillion times more money than that off of the
Gals' work.* Even a $2 or $3 million dollar salary per year for an
actor of Lauren's stature is a drop in the bucket compared to the
hundreds of millions of dollars that Warners makes off just the DVD,
syndication and foreign sales revenue streams alone.
Saying that they aren't worth it, that they shouldn't be asking for it
because it's just greed yadayadayada is just anti-elitist arrogance,
IMO.

LORELAI: I am so done with plans. I am never, ever making one again.
It never works. I spend the day obsessing over why it didn't work
and what I could've done differently. I'm analyzing all my shortcomings
when all I really need to be doing is vowing to never, ever make a plan
ever again, which I'm doing now, having once again been the innocent
victim of my own stupid plans. God, I need some coffee.
