Far from it, if you're speaking of alt.tv.dark_shadows. It has never
been a haven for spam, but at least one very disturbed individual tried
repeatedly, over the years, to disrupt the group with very hateful and
rude postings, under a variety of aliases. This occurred mainly during
the board's active period, though, when Sci-Fi Channel aired repeats on
a daily basis.
The same individual continued to resurface during the past few years of
low activity, though his/her postings have been seen less and less.
