I actually caught myself posting more messages on freakgirl.com
yesterday than on USENET. Oh think of the children AND the bandwidth.
Anyhow, I'm really not doing anything other than being a
housewife/student at the moment. I worked 70 hour weeks for the better
part of 10 years, so now I'm a 30something student/kegger/partyboy.
I've decided I want to be a lawyer/architect/astronaut. Actually, I'm
a business management major. My cameras are in moth balls at the
moment.
I'm steadily on my way to 200 pounds (going in the wrong direction,
though). I'm 187... we met back in ATMP I was 160something. I'm
currently on a mild mental diet that makes me order unsweetened tea or
diet coke with my big greasy burgers and fries. Ugggg. Seriously, I've
eliminated bread as a sidedish here at the Mackey-Madsen house and am
in negotiations with Al to start getting skim milk again. Really, I
don't so much mind 187 (though my chart says 170 is my ideal weight)
it just having spent my teenage years at 240-275 I'm rather attached
to my wardrobe... and 33 inch waists and medium polos are too snug.
I'm still painting the house. At the moment I'm doing the master
bedroom and bath. Midnight blue, Alien-abduction white, and silver
(the silver's silver metallic... it's, well... it's silver). I did the
kitchen over the spring in the same white color... it's industrial
high gloss white we can toss tomato sauce anywhere and it pretty much
just wipes up. It was ugly paneling to begin with. I framed a few
pictures for Orbit's area... here's a meaningful picture:

When I first read you post the other day, I looked on Southwest's web
site to see if I could find the right weekend getaway for you. Las
Vegas? Doesn't seem appropriate somehow though. I could call my cousin
in Oceanside and you could go stay the weekend with her and her like 7
kids. They go to church on Sunday, you'd have to get up early for
that.
OR...
My evil sister's in San Francisco now.
Anyhow, guess I should go morning paint so the bedroom won't be so
fumey at bedtime.
