Twin Peaks

Ok, I've heard so much about this show over the years that I finally
gave in and bought the Pilot on dvd. I enjoyed it.

My question is, does this plot/story conclude within the next 7
episodes (the first season) or does it go on into another 22 episodes
(the second season)?

I ask because I am able to get the next 7, but not the next 22.

Please, no SPOILERS!
