Huffman's character is a former fast-track career woman who quits her job
to
have a family and obviously regrets it, especially when the children (all
boys) turn out to be a handful. And her husband travels a lot, so she
doesn't get much help from him (that's also why I don't think we'll see
much
of Savant). Her character type has the potential to be unsympathetic, but
Huffman ****trays her with just the right mix of world-weariness, regret,
and
humor.
