And me with it.

Not noticed anything worthwhile since Ally finished.

That's what you think! Wait 'til you actually start, unless you're doing
something like PPE, or English?

Recently bought a telescope - just when the nights turned cloudy for 2
months. Had it out a couple of times and will be trying the digital camera

on it soon, I hope.

 > Anything interesting?
Not yet. Not really. Not ever. Though the badminton club I play with is
starting again tonight (they recess over the summer). And my friend Jo,
whose daughter has Batten's Disease, has just started a college course
(yesterday) with a view to going on to University to study to become a
radiation technician. I wonder if they'd be desparate enough (NHS funded,
these courses) to take on a two times drop-out?

See below.

Life's like that.

> Is Gandalf about still? Or anyone?
Tids was posting for Gandalf about a week before your last post. Did you
see
that? I haven't got any e-mails from him for 2 1/2 years now. In fact
since
about a month after I last got one from Janey. I wonder if they got
together. I was actually trying to find the newsgroup archive
(unsuccesfully) when I got back here. Every now and then, when I get
really
depressed, I have another look at my map of Blackpool, and a list of
clues,
to see if I can spot where Janey lives. I guess that would me a stalker
except I never get off my arse to do anything about it. I miss her wit and

style.

I heard from Sarah Ogilvy about a year back. She's at Dundee university
studying Biology and trying to keep her old romance with Dave (back home)
going. I've no idea whether she succeeded.

I'd better go and see if I can't shake off some of this flab. Take care,
Grim
