They're welcome to it. What mostly concerns me is that my waist seems to
be
expanding, but I haven't put on any weight. That would suggest what little
muscle I had is being converted to fat. And all this while I remain the
ideal weight?

I do remember dark nights from my youth. Not only could you see the milky
way, you could see the dark patches in it. Now you can only see the
brightest stars without assistance. What a waste.
