Of course, we don't know how much time was wasted with the team member
having to redo the wrestling task.
Had he zoomed through there in one try, the penalty likely wouldn't have
mattered.
So it's neither one or the other, but a combination. They didn't read
the clue properly, they couldn't do the task rapidly, and thus they
are gone.
