Some people don't become 'famous' until after their death. Some that
others would barely nod their head at, if they came in contact with
them, while they were alive, suddenly become WELL known after their
death. I've always thought this was sad, that they couldn't have
received the credit they so deserved before they passed away, so they
could have enjoyed the attention and praise..that is providing they were
best remembered for something GOOD.
Most of us will probably never be 'famous' so to speak, but have you
ever thought what kind of a legacy you would like to leave behind? When
family and friends get together at your funeral and exchange stories
about, what would you like for them to remember the most?
In other words on your head stone what would you like written? As an
example: "Here Likes John Doe--World's Greatest Soccer Player".
On my epitaph it could read that I was a good mother, wife and
grandmother, but I would like to also remembered as a friend to animals.
