In reference to some anti-Andromeda crossposting going on
recently.
I wish Andromeda had had better budgets...but I think what
they did with what they had was pretty darn good...and better
yet, it was *fun* to watch. And the characters may have been
stock, but then how many shows really have unique to scifi characters?
SciFi has been around so long, in tv, book, etc form, anyone would
be hard pressed to create something totally new...
but the Andromeda characters/actors
managed to break their molds a bit and create some very 3D people...unlike
some other shows I could mention with much much bigger budgets.
maybe the people trashing it on all these posts are just out
to try and stir things up...I think I saw them doing the same
thing to B5, Stargate and some others.
