Born and thriving during season 1,
... took a tumble at the end of the second
... slipped into a coma during the third
... brain dead during the fourth
and during the fifth they just spent the time prodding it with a stick,
like a "Weekend a Bernies" sequel, whilst it quicky decayed.
Maybe S5 ends with a whole load of fans coming into the studio
and giving everyone a big slap.
or simply a shot of Gene lying in his grave crying, then fade to black.
I have my fingers crossed that a re-dredlocked Tyr appears and
give Dillion a well-deserved ass-whooping
