at the end of the series wesley talks about watcher training
to resist magic and deceptions
so if billy evoked something already in wesley
wesley has deal with not being as civilized as he think
if instead billy infected wesley with something new
its still a failure for wesley for not resisting the magic

losing not just the ability to love but even the memories of love
i like to think darlas last appearance to connor
is her soul finally at peace
