the problems inflicted him date from childhood

warrens first horrible crime is that he makes a lifesize vibrator
if katrina herself could make the claim
that she never had nothing twixt her nethers that were run on batteries
she would have the moral highground to complain about it
otherwise shes being a hypocrite

i dont see warrens problem as making *** toys the japanese would envy
but that he cant move on from katrina
but he has obsessed and soured in his own frustration

parallelling spike
the difference is the buffy can survive that kind of violence

in another story a person is pulled out of reality just before being
lynched
and the person doing that telling him that it was im****tant to forgive
and to love the people who were going to kill him
not love the pettiness and hate
but to see beneath that the potential for greatness

thats what riley does
he still loves buffy not for the mess she is or the mistakes she makes
but for the potential within her and her basic decency
(that goes back to the replacement when riley talks about wanting the
whole buffy
fully aware of her faults and ice skating obsession
unfortunately buffy was not mature enough yet to deal with the whole riley
more interested in winning the moral superiority than accepting riley was
human)

what this episode does is let buffy feel loved and feel worthy
and she then can feel for herself body and soul that she can be better
than this

> has awhile to go - I'm certainly not suggesting that Buffy herself is
> completely healed yet - I just think the show has brushed against the

at that point she knows she can be healed
and so she begins to heal
up till then she looks at the mess she is in and despairs
now she looks at the mess she is in and knows she is better than that

again part of therapy is to get patients to express emotions
even if contrived in artificial situations
so the patients know that they still have the capacity to feel

arf meow arf - everything thing i know i learned
from the collective unconscience of odd bodkins
sacramento - political pigsty of the western world
or a babys arm holding an apple
