There's only so far that I'll go to defend that character.  Even though
they 
try to improve it in the run that follows, he still annoys me most every 
time he's on the screen.  And the notion that they're working with him is 
only worth one episode.  But I'm not inclined to place the full burden of 
that character's failings onto WITW.  That episode is stuck with the arc 
handed it.

No.  I mean it's nice to know they had a better idea, but I wasn't really 
mad at the writers anyway.  I never doubted that they tried to do the best

that they could.  The problem is what's left on the screen irrespective of

the reasons behind it.
