Maybe because it's Spike - oddly enough - who has seen Willow's issues 
more clearly than any of them, all the way back at least to "Something 
Blue."  He's known for some time that she's potentially dangerous, even 
if she doesn't intend it; it's been pretty obvious since the Glory arc 
that he's wary of Willow and doesn't trust her with the power, and her 
resurrection spell was the clincher for him.  I seriously doubt that he 
would ask her to whip up a love spell for him these days.
