You seem to have achieved a pretty good appreciation for this season - 
beyond mine - which is nice.  It's good to enjoy a show.

Stepping back a little, I know I've been especially critical of AtS S4
this 
time through.  But that's largely built out of the expectations I have for
a 
Whedon show and have developed for AtS from earlier seasons.  And probably

most of all because of the expectations that AtS sets for itself in this, 
its most aggressive season.  In that context, I think it falls short.  But

in a broader sense I still enjoy the season and the series.  I like this
at 
least as much as S1 - probably a tad more.  (And S1, for all its flaws,
also 
includes superb high points.)  S4 is probably the most memorable season of

the AtS run with more than its share of thrilling moments and arresting 
visuals.  There's something about gaping at fire raining from the sky that

works for me no matter what Connor and Cordelia may be doing beneath that 
rain.
