Long ago - I think it was 1997 - on this very group, one of the
denizens - a Sylvester Fox - wrote three epic fanfics crossing the Star
Wars and Animaniacs franchises. The Star Bores movies - Ennui Hope, The
Empire Sleeps In, and Rerun of the Gookie - are still among the great
A! fanfics of all time.
So, has anyone given any thought to doing with the current trilogy what
Sly did with the old trilogy? We could see how Senator turned
Chancellor turned Emperor Snowball-pitine corrupted AnaPink Lukewalker,
as well as the latter's doomed love with queen turned Senator PharMe
AmFigdala. There are many roles which still need to be cast, but I
would suggest a certain woodchuck in the role of Char-Char Binks. It
would be interesting to see who would play Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu,
and other Gookie Knights; of course Slappy would reprise her role as
Olda, and Chicken Boo as Oboo-Wan Kenoboo. Then there's the Darths, or
is it the Pinkys, considering Anakin is destined to become Pinky Vader?
So, how about it? Is there anyone left who's interested enough to try
to get up something like that?
Hmm, maybe Roddy McStew as Qui-Gon, and Cosgrove as Mace Windu? Hey, if
the Road Rovers can be the Ewoks...
