And of course, body-fitting armor always looks good on girls. :D :D :D
Would it be wrong for me to say that she and Sally Acorn pretty much
paved the way for animated girls to be more agile and more into getting
physical? I mean, most female characters I can think of that fit the
bill (personally, my list is very short: Leela, KP, Mira Nova, and of
course the PPG) come after these two furries. Yes, I know the PPG were
Whoopin' Ass before the other two were, but still... Toon girls
generally didn't kick ass until Sally and Colleen did.
My personal fave was Exile the Russian. Looking back, I don't know why,
but I guess I thought having freeze vision was cool. He was voiced by
Kevin Michael Richardson, back when another Kevin Richardson was part
of the biggest boy band sensation on the planet (the Backstreet
Boys!!!), and back when KMR wasn't typecast into Afro American roles
(hello, Numbuh 5's dad!).
In other news, I still kind of wish that they'd do a REAL space
episode, one where they got to wear spacesuits and stuff (since the
Russians sent dogs into space before sending humans, I can see Exile
making some comments about this). I've made a few designs (though
they're not really 100% original ideas), and you can see them at my
site. (http://members.tripod.com/~Rover_Wow/download.htm
