Ray Martine the comedian?

He didn't do much acting IIRC; his most well-known TV spell was as the
host 
of Associated-Rediffusion's (later Rediffusion London's) "Stars And 
Garters" (1963 onward). The programme was a bit of old-fa****oned TV studio

variety masquerading as pub entertainment. Others taking part (mainly 
singers) included Kathy Kirby (her first big TV appearance) and Vince
Hill.
