You can never trust the TV edit.  Last season, they said that after 
the competition was over they made one team scramble up their puzzle 
that was almost completed for no apparent reason (they must have 
reshot the ending making it look like a more decisive victory).

For example, they edited out the bit where Matt and Nat lost a piece, 
the competition was stopped, and BB returned to to them (in the 
bin?).
