Predetermined? No way, too many variables each week for them to be
that precise. Guided here and there? ...sure.
James never said he was told to put Matt up, or even that it was
suggested he do so, I believe he eluded that 'one'(possibly more, but
DR sessions can contain a lot of questions, covering a lot of topics
and/or HG's) question simply asked 'why' he wasn't going after Matt,
not that he 'should' go after Matt.
The DR might of(ooops, I mean 'have') simply been trying to get
footage for the network show, that had him stating why he wasn't going
after Matt. They might of felt that for those viewers that needed
clarifcation. Perhaps they were fully expecting James to say "Well, I
promised Nat".
I see no huge conspiracy here, but I can see how 'some' in this NG
might read a whole lot more into this.
