It was such a quick nod that I could easily see how neither of them
remembers doing it. I didn't quite get why the jury members thought it was
such a big deal.

That really doesn't surprise me at all. I pegged James as a "player." The
players act one way during the game but once their game is over they
realize
there's no point in still being a dick. As for Natalie, there are a lot of
negative adjectives that can (and have been) thrown her way but I think
she's genuinely a nice person and I figured a week in the jury house with
her Bible would soften her before the jury questioning. I see her making a
guilt trip kind of statement or question instead of a vindictive one.
