Considering how bad the ratings were for BB9 I'm surprised they gave 
anything. But BB9 did fill a lot of time for CBS during the strike on
short 
notice which probably counts for something. We should all be thankful that

CBS did not pull the plug on BB9 and let the game play out as usual. If
they 
had I believe they would have caused irreparable damage to the show.
