That was my whole point! Don't classify the whole state based on =
what others think or just because the capital thinks the way it does.

Isn't that exactly what YOU were doing in your original =
post, however??? Classifying the WHOLE state of CT as part of the =
NYC/NJ/CT tri-state area but not a part of New England?? That's =
certainly how it came across.=20

I know that it is considered that. It is also considered a part =
of the NY, NJ, CT tri-state. So I maintain that there are different =
regions and they all should be respected and no one region should be =
assumed or put on us by those in a nother.

You might want to try practicing what you preach then. =
Your original post was chock full of insults toward other inhabitants of =
New England (whether they live in CT or other states in the region).

From reading some of your responses to other people, you appear =
to have a mammoth-sized chip on your shoulder because YOU feel that your =
little corner of CT *should* be considered part of the "tri-state" area =
instead of New England. You appear to have a major hard-on for all =
things NY and you definitely appear to be obsessing over something that =
can be easily remedied by moving to a location that does consider itself =
a part of the tri-state region (ie, NY or NJ). Or you can simply block =
all TV and radio stations that center their re****ts on New England =
(which you appear to detest) and listen/watch only to NY/NJ stations, =
which if THEY think your little corner of CT is part of the tri-state =
region, let THEM cover it. Maybe you should take up your fight with =
THOSE stations to INCLUDE southwestern CT since you're so convinced that =
it's part of THEIR region.
