Brady Bunch Hawaii Episode With Don Ho

by Kingsfan13 <kingsfan1300@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sep 10, 2007 at 04:57 PM

I'm sure that we all remember the Brady Bunch Hawaii episodes.

I think that Sherwood was trying to use a play on words during the
scene when Bobby and Thindy met Don Ho and Sam Kapu (pronounced
"capoo"). Sherwood deliberately chose Sam Kapu to appear in the scene
because so much of the Brady Bunch series had to do with BMs (bowel
movements) and Sam's name sounds like a BM (bowel movement), i.e. Kapu
(pronounced "capoo"). This revelation just recently occurred to me
and I'd like to get everyone's thoughts on this (especially the
thoughts of my wonderful friends, Saggie and Derek).

Do you think that old Sherwood was trying to, once again, introduce a
BM (bowel movement) theme into the show by casting Sam Kapu
(pronounced "capoo") in the Don Ho scene?
