Interesting little detail came out today in the lawsuit trial of John
Ritter's widow vs. the hospital and doctors that "killed" him due to
negligence.
Apparently, Ritter got terrible food poisoning eating the food on the
"Buffy" set when he played a killer robot. He referred to the incident
as if it were common knowledge to his family in his last phone call
to his wife, where he said something like, "I feel nauseous and I'm
vomiting, must have eaten some old rotten vegetables or something,
it's just like that 'Buffy' thing all over again..."
Who knows, this might be the real reason Sarah Michelle Gellar
quit the show...it can't be because of what she said, about wanting
to be in movies, because I haven't seen her in ANY movies...
