Something Blue episode from Season 4
Who is Giles talking to on the phone as he goes blind and Buffy and Spike
are talking about marriage? I don't remember Giles stating who he is
having
a conversation with. Giles tells this person on the phone about the
problem
with his eyes yet it couldn't be a doctor because Giles mentions magic and
witchcraft during the conversation. Maybe it is someone at the Council in
London but Giles is out of the Council; fired, canned, sacked. Could it
be
Angel? But why would Giles contact Angel about this problem? It could be
Olivia and she does appear in the next episode. It does seem reasonable
that he would complain to a lover about a health problem. Trouble is
Olivia
doesn't really confront the demon world until "Hush" and she always
thought
Giles was telling her bull with his stories; that he was being
pretentious.
We know he is not on the phone with Xander, Anya, Buffy or Willow.
Which makes me still wonder who was Giles talking to on the phone?
