Did anyone else catch Kristine Sutherland's appearance in this week's
episode of NEW AMSTERDAM on FOX (Monday, April 7)?
She played the wife of the main character's former partner, a retired
NYPD detective dying from an old gunshot wound. They were supposed to
be struggling financially, so she wasn't nearly as glammed up as she
was as Joyce Summers. Dowdy, and she looked like she might have put on
a few pounds over the last 5 years, but who among us hasn't?
NEW AMSTERDAM will be wrapping up next week for the season after only
8 episodes, and the latest word is that it probably won't be renewed
for next year, so I don't know if we'll be seeing a rerun of this
episode. I'm sure it'll eventually be released on DVD and/or Blu-Ray.
