correctly stated, and enough of anything in the right doses can kill you
by
the same token

It' snot lime soda I know. But I was really only dealing with diet sodas,
so it won't happen that way

haw haw haw I remember that chlorine gas troll from many years ago.

I ain't fallin for that one --TAKE IT TO SCI.HCEM FOOLS!
http://groups.google.com/group/sci.chem/browse_frm/thread/f7625eaefe436128/6e733f103f017f93?lnk=st&q=chlorine+beable+kibology&rnum=1&hl=en#6e733f103f017f93
on the other hand, hmm, maybe sulphuric acid and chlorine gas that's
related
to collecting the 'boon' in Carnivale...which you have
to kill people with your own hands. & why the scythe? There's something
about the cornfield and therefore popcorn in the early dreams in the first
season, but I
don't quite get whether that's history or prophecy. Ben does relate
himself to the 'migrants' & dust bowl victims, but that's just a
method of manipulation, hardly an association with the 'land'.
Another point never followed up on: Ben's grandfather helped to found
the klan. There's one episode in S2, I think right around the time
Justin is beginning to establish his "new cannan" revival camp...where
they zoom in on a headline that's something like: "Jews not welcome"
or "Jews pushed out" or some such...& I got the impression it was
RELATED to Justin's or his politician's rabble rousing and/or the
Nazis. Which would give another reason for the chlorine gas argument.
Another interesting thing is that the 2 politicians that
Justin pulls in to sup****t in S2 are the same 2 who in S1 try to push
him out of town for catering to the migrants...and he gets so mighty
pissed that he makes the gay one nearly choke to death before
conceding...of course that's before Iris burns down that ministry.
As to Ben focusing his ill effects on an individual, yes he has done
that before, but he had to kill Lodz himself PERHAPS HE WAS DIPPING HIS
CHLORINE IN SULPHURIC ACIDE...and select the location
to target the fish or the vultures...the one tying thing, though, is
that Justin has always puked or collapsed or seized up or thrashed
around whenever Ben's healed ANYBODY, from whatever distance.
and we not only know they carried off Ben as if on a crucifix, Samson
took care to note that he was still breathing. No matter what, Sofie
is up to no good...most obviously because she shot Jonesie...who we
don't know whether he's dead or alive...if he's alive, he's left
to the enemies devices (like Norman? and chlorine gas)...and if she's
evil,
what the hell
kinda evil power might her offspring have, chlorine gas I think, there's
no
doubt she's
carrying Ben's baby -- there's no other reason for the tryst to have
happened. it's the next generation for upcoming
season(s)...& I hope it goes on. To have tv engaging enough to have
this much conversation is refre****ng...even when it's so disturbing.
