She's treating Dawn as an adult instead of as a child, true,
but it seems to be the custom of pokeworld to toss offspring
out of the nest at the conclusion of 4th grade. Since their
society is based on slavery instead of technology, an education
isn't really going to be that useful anyways, is it?
