I was, overall, impressed and pleased with this, and plan to watch it again
the next time they rerun it. And the next, and the next...
The casting was incredible. The actors ****traying Ben and Gwen had the
roles
down smooth, and Lee Majors surpassed every wild expectation I could EVER
have had as Max. I wouldn't mind seeing him take over the voice role of
Max
in B10:HG next year, in fact. But that's never going to happen...
....odds are they WILL be making a live-action sequel, though.
As to the plot...
I preferred THIS version of Ben's return home to the canon version seen in
"Goodbye and Good Riddance". Although they mucked with continuity by more
than a bit with some of the liberties taken with the history of the
Plumbers
and the Omnitrix, Eon was a very interesting villain and a refre****ng
change
of pace from everyone's favorite Elder God reject, Vilgax.
And I really liked the CGI for Ben's aliens. Heatblast, Grey Matter, and
Diamondhead all looked EXACTLY like you'd expect them to, as did Wildmutt.
Actually, Wildmutt amused me, because he was a lot hairier than I would've
figured. XD
So...anyone else with thoughts?
