	More like the story of fast food, obesity and TV.  The machine stops
and the dependent human slugs are forced out of their cells to forage
for survival.  Not a pretty tale at all, but might make one
episode of an anime if you were to write the prequels as the machine
becomes built and the humans installed and maybe another as the humans
either begin to survive or fail.
