ATTENTION:
Some bizarre form of religion troll is hijacking the posting identities of
multiple posters in alt.tv.cartoon-network and other groups, as well as
hijacking legitimate group threads, to randomly spam political and
religious
crap to completely unconcerned, unassociated newsgroups.
Obviously, those of us who are net savvy already figured this out, but
those
who are not as well-versed in the vagaries of Usenet abuse may not have
realized this straight away.
Bottom line: if it doesn't look like the person who appears to have posted
it posted it, IT WAS NOT THAT PERSON WHO POSTED IT, and it should be
ignored.
