The relationship is that the movie caused them to go through contract
records, and they discovered the old contract with Capitol Records and
realized that it had been breached.
But unless Capitol Records licensed the music to the movie, it probably
doesn't impact the movie itself. The lawsuit refers to Capitol Records
licensing the music to TV shows, DVD's, commercials, movies, ring tones,
and novelty items.
