The series "Darkplace" is supposed to lightly mock the seriousness of
more horror genre movies, but in nature is simply boring. I've watched
around 4 episodes and none made me laugh or entertained. The high point
of
the series is the voicework (the over-the-top British-ness) is not too
horrible, but the story is just dull bland tedium. I know that the series
is supposed to be cheesy and "cheap looking" in effect (though the
camerawork & lighting is very high quality) yet the stories remain bland
unwatchable tedium.
At this point I just change the channel and find something much more
interesting to watch.
