I think they think they can get away with it because no matter what they
say, or even what they show (assey) they still bring in more viewers than
other networks at that time & demographic.
Then again, what else is on at 2am on a Saturday(Sunday) night? Just
about everyone else is showing infomercials. Furthermore, the stoners, who
seem to be AS' primary demographic, don't have the paitence or attention
span to watch anything too long, making shows like Squidbillies, 12 OZ.
Mouse and even Assey McGee seem like GENIUS.

Again, so long as they outperform the infomercials on the other channels,
I doubt anyone cares about anything.

Like I mentioned, when it only costs a sack of Big Macs to make your
content, anything you earn from advertising is 100% profit. It may not be
Super Bowl-esque revenue, but hey, it's almost ALL PROFIT.
