We're talking an 18-wheeler's worth here! Call me cynical, but I
don't see a "Japanese theme," all I see here is . . .:
1. Her *inability* to do a proper ending.
2. An excuse to rake in money, money, and more money . . .

Sorry to come off like such an asshole, but I find this lack of
ending as the worst of teases. Like having a delicious dessert in
front of you, but never being allowed to so much as touch it (there's
a more hentai analogy I was thinking of using, but decided not to).
Some may argue that the cake at the end of Evangelion tasted bad, but
at least there was cake.
I have great respect for the anime/manga goddess that is Rumiko
Takahashi, but I don't like to get f'ed with either . . .
