Naruto, the movie: I turned on the TV, and was about to change the channel
to Ultimate Recipe Showdown, or Iron Chef, or whatever was on Food Network
at the time, and noticed that instead of showing GooseBumps, they were
showing the Naruto movie. If this means that CN has dropped Goosebumps
and
is going to now show an animated movie in that time slot, or otherwise
re-expanding Toonami, that is certainly fine by me.
Naruto: I am not certain exactly when the "filler episodes" started, but
1)
I have never read the manga, so that really does not bother me, and 2) if
it
means more Hinata (like in the "bug hunting" episodes last week), then I
am
all for it.
Blue Dragon: Well, I liked it.
Samurai Jack: Probably a better series than DBZ, but the current ones
(the
Cell tournament) were ones that I have not seen yet, so the least CN could
have done is wait until the tournament finished until they changed what
series was in that time slot.
AS: Since they replaced the anime on Friday with "comedies," and now have
only 3 shows I am truly interested in (actually 4, but right now I do not
have a VCR, and even if I did, I probably would not record Inuyasha
anyway,
nor am I interested in staying up until 4:30) AS has now officially gone
to
heck in a handbasket.
However, looking at the AS schedule, I think the season-ending 2 parters
of
Cowboy Bebop are just filler until Code Geass (?) debuts, but who if knows
how long it will be until Cowboy Bebob will ever be on again. I don't
know
how that will be.
