It looks like CN has dropped Goosebumps, but I am not so sure that the
lineup of Jimmy's Head, Courage, George of the Jungle, and Chopsocky
chooks
is that much of an improvement, though I do like George of the Jungle. I
never really bothered watching Goosebumps, though, so perhaps it is.
Perhaps Blue Dragon is intended to be a "DBZ-style fighting show," but
with
the antics of the gang and the snappy, sarcastic banter of the shadows, it
comes across as more of a comedy to me.
Perhaps Samurai Jack is a better show than DBZ, but the Cell tournament is
a
series of episodes that I have been unlucky enough to miss. I wasn't
really
into the show when they were showing that series for the first time a
couple
of years ago, and everytime since that they get up to those series of
shows,
they replace DBZ with something else. I have seen the otherworld
tournament/sayaman/buu saga enough times to last from now till saint
swizen's day, so preempting it when they get there is fine.
It looks like AS has gone, at least for a while to the all-anime Saturday
lineup, at least for awhile. I wonder how long it will last. I don't
want
to jinx things, but I wish they would show only one Inuyasha, and perhaps
something that they have not shown in awhile, like perhaps Trigun
(anything
except Stupid Milk Chan).
Is Code Geass the best they can come up with? If they must show a giant
robot show, how about the original GUNDAM, and this time they can finish
it,
damnit.
