I have had the 3rd DVD box set on pre-order with a store in Australia - it
was
supposed to be released in the next few weeks.... However I got this
email a
couple days ago......
"We have unfortunately been informed by the distributor of " Prisoner -
25th
Anniversary Collection (Box Set)" that this title has been cancelled and
will
therefore not be available."
Can anyone shed further light on this ?! I was hoping there was going to
be
footage from the 21st anniversary reunion party as part of the extras? I
also
would have loved them to see them include Prisoner: In Concert as part of
the
extras but I read sometime back they couldn't get music clearance rights.
Shame, as I would have *really* loved to see the Prisoner in Concert.
Does
anyone out there have a copy of this?
I have the whole series on video, as do many of you who post to this
group, but
it's still very disappointing news. Thanks in advance to anyone who
might
have additional information to post.
