Yeah, but that was really poor. She had been gone for ages, then one of
the characters happens to mention her unexpectedly... then later in the
same episode we hear she has been killed!
I was thinking more of the bomb in solitary. That happened soon before
Bea left the show, and I remember reading on the digest that it was
originally intended for her to be killed by the bomb. People never
really expect to see the main character in a TV show die, so it's always
really shocking when they do :-)
