Tim Williams was a friend of mine who lived in Silver Springs, Maryland and
later Washington DC here in the US. He was a massive fan of PCBH (he
called
it "his show") and he died of a diabetes-related illness on Nov 2, 2004
at the
age of 38.
Though I knew him for a number of years, we never did actually meet in
person.
We exchanged hundreds of emails & letters, and later (thanks to free LD on
cell
phones) talked on the phone all the time. He was bright and funny, and I
will
miss hearing from him. He used to leave insane messages on my voice mail
all
the time, usually doing spot-on imitations of Prissie characters, everyone
from
Noeline Bourke to Jock Stewart.
I know he (some time ago) communicated regularly with some other PRISONER
fans
both here in the US and overseas in the UK or AUS. If anyone reading this
