A&E is just distributing the exact same content/product as the AUS & UK
first
box set releases.
This same 3 dvd set now released for the US is packaged as "The Best of
Prisoner..." but most of the episodes included (though great episodes!)
were
well after the series stopped showing here in the US, so this set doesn't
contain much for those fans who are looking for the characters and stories
they
remember watching so many years ago on US tv. (except maybe for ep 536,
the
flashback episode)
The exact episodes included in the set are:
vol 1) "The Early Years" episodes 166,287,327,400 (go figure)
vol 2) "Terrorist Siege" episodes 536,550,551,552
vol 3) "The End" episodes 600,601,691,692 (last ep)
Some of my favorites (of the moment anyway) are the arrival of Sharon &
Judy,
and the women at the Reynolds clothing factory with Kay White. I'll have
Margo Gaffney with a full side of Bev & Lil any ole time too!
